Raw Pages is a monthly writing circle where writers can come together to share their “raw” writing in an open, nonjudgemental, nurturing environment.
The title “Raw Pages” comes from the photography world where the artist has the option to shoot “raw” leaving their work the opportunity to be more flexible to future editing.
This circle invites writers to play, to listen with care and curiosity, and to generate new writing with a meditative group while noshing on snacks and sipping tea.
Hosted by writer and visual artist, Georgia Van Gunten.
Georgianna Van Gunten (she/they) is a writer and visual artist with a BA in writing and literature from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University and an MFA in poetry from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Their writing has been published by some small online publications and has received some small recognition and awards. But mostly she walks dogs and cares for animals of all kinds and lives a quiet life surrounded by nature.
She is the resident hedge witch of ithaca writing studio.
This is a free event but donations are highly encouraged.
