Passion Behind the Pen Presents Broken Words Writing Workshop. During this two-day intensive, Keyturah Moore will bring up to 12 participants together each day at ithaca writing studio for a mixture of generative writing, meditation, vision boarding and drawing, as well as sharing work created during the weekend. Keyturah Moore’s unique vision as a mentor and a writer comes from the many trials and tribulations she has faced as well as the process she has personally developed to heal through the power of the written word. She has created this workshop where writers can come together and face those topics in a communal, safe and meditative setting where the incredibly passionate Moore can help participants heal their brokenness through words together despite their differences.
Keyturah Moore is a creative writer, lyricist, and amateur film maker living in Ithaca, NY. She has supported the literary community by creating and hosting poetry events in Tompkins County as well as designing a workshop for Spring Writes Literary Festival. She has a self-published chapbook of poetry titled Broken Words which is available for purchase. Passion Behind the Pen Productions is Keyturah Moore’s creation that bridges the gap between poetry workshops, events, and other literary endeavors within the community. A special thank you to CAP for awarding Moore a Community Artist Grant for her workshop series to be a highlight of Spring Writes in 2025.
