Join a group of other writers to start a Submittable page and search for online or print presses seeking submissions for work. This can be a place to swap ideas about self-publishing or a circle where writers help each other create professional bios, cover letters and even headshots.
This is hosted by georgia Van Gunten who will begin the group by offering some ideas on how to get work published as well as give advice on creating a Submittable page (a platform used by most publishers these days). Each writer will be asked to come with a laptop and some ideas to share with the group on how to get work published and/or apply for awards and residencies etc.
